At sixty-nine years of age I'm quite a newcomer to shooting guns I but have fallen head over heels in love with it. I'm not much of a handgun efficiano but I can't deny the feelings I'm having with my new 'Papa Bear' .45/.410 pistol. First time I've actually felt 'giddy' about something since I got a car when I was sixteen in 1964. I can't stay away from the shooting range! I'm very much surprised at the accuracy this gun exhibits, even at 20 yards. I went to the gun store to look at a DoubleTap .45 derringer which they didn't carry so when the sales person handed me the Bond Arms gun, I knew the moment I held it in my hand, I had to own it. It defies my ability to verbally describe what a WELL MADE, yet simple work of engineering it is. It's a bit oxymoronic to describe...like crossing a Caterpillar D8 bulldozer with a Ferrari F12...hard to explain! You have to see one in person...hold it in your hand...and shoot it...and try to stop. (Bet you can't shoot just once)! I've ordered the .357 mag/.38 Special and the .22 Long Rifle barrels which according to my UPS notice, should be arriving tomorrow. It's been too many years since I've had those 'Night Before Christmas' feelings, but I sure do tonight! The folks I talked with on the phone at Bond when I ordered my barrels made it seem liking I was making a call to home. In case you haven't detected it yet, I am more than ecstatic about my new Bond Arms experiences.
