TKO

I've run ballistic comparisons with a Bond Arms Defender equipped a 2.5" barrel against several other (what I thought would be) more formidable weapons. I've attached the results of the TKO summary. Having hunted big game (including a 1600 lb Bison I took with a single shot) I respect the TKO (Taylor Knock Out value) of my gun/round choice.

I was confident the Ruger GP100 357 Magnum with its 6" barrel chambered with high performance Double Tap ammo would do well. What surprised me was the Bond Defender beat it ... by a great deal.

The chart is a summary report of the best performance for each gun over several round choices. What is clear to me is that a Bond Arms Defender chambered with a Buffalo Bore (Standard Pressure) 45 Colt 255 grain round is a very effective combination.
