This is not a furniture grade finished box. It has sanding issues and some rough spots and fitting issues and one of the bottom fiberboard edges is a little smashed; but I truthfully was not expecting much for thirty five bucks & shipping. Actually I can accept that it has a "country" rustic look to it, appropriate I might guess for a country Texas box. But be advised if you are looking for perfection and heavy lacquer and furniture grade finish, you will not find it in this box.
